Don't ask. We organise a MTB skills day for some of the ladies of
the club and, in return, all we asked was that some photos are taken
for the website. We give them a camera and send them on their
merry way... Above are their collective results. Muddy
knees? What's that all about? Still, they all seemed to
have a jolly good time messing about in Afan Argoed with our favourite
MTB course provider, Paul Peat. Cheers Paul.
Some of our little mud-bunnies felt compelled to comment:
"...It was great - fantastic company & support from the
others, Nigel was a very good, gentle & experienced teacher. The only
problem is I’m knackered!!..."
"...Was a good trip, Nigel looked a bit
apprehensive when he first saw us all!
I think we really got a lot out of today,
the down hill single track was a bit scary though, with the rocks and drops.
The switchback were a good lesson, although I found the right hand ones
difficult! Also learnt how to keep my
front wheel on floor up tricky hills over stones. Cool. All in all money well
spent, grand day out Gromit. Us girls need to practice these new skills...."
