Preseli Angel 2019 - Sunday 5th May

Set in beautiful North Pembrokeshire, the Preseli Angel continues to offer varied terrain and spectacular coastal and mountain scenery. Challenging routes deliver a fantastic but eminently do-able course that will suit early season fitness levels.

For 2019 the previous Angel routes have been tweaked to provide some new challenges and a new route added giving a choice of 3 routes:

The new 40 mile route that follows a similar route to previous years with the same beginning, then takes a cross country route to the magnificent climb of the Preseli Mountain and super-fast descent to a food stop near Crosswell. The route continues via lanes to Nevern and a bit of a sting in tail before the final dash back to Newport.

The new 60 mile route follows the 40 miler to the feed stop then heads out Crymch before returning to sample the delights of the Gwaun Valley returning to Newport via Bessies!

The new 78 mile route  followed the 60 mile route course route to Crymch then it takes a loop to Bleanwaun before making it's way back to the delights of the Gwaun Valley returning to Newport via Bessies!

All the routes will be signed and the 60 and 78 miler routes will include 2 feedstops.

Tea and cakes will also be provided for all riders at the finish.

Cost £15 in advance (£20 on the day)
