A Bracing Sea Breeze

A gorgeous day for cycling; sun and cloud, not too hot and not too cold, perfect but where were all the riders? Pete Hughes turned up and so together with Jayney they descended Aberporth hill heading into quite a bracing sea breeze. Shooting the breeze, they rode to Tresaith and climbed steadily towards the Penbryn lanes. It was an unexpected rush hour as the 2 riders came upon chapel goers en route to Llangranog. They bravely descended a steep, narrow coastal lane towards the coastal statue above the beach. The lane needed careful negotiation owing to a mossy surface and alternating light and shade. An enjoyable coffee and cake stop was taken at the famous cafe on the beach front before riding out towards Pontgarreg. Up to the main road at Brynhoffnant and then back to Pete's home territory at Glynarthen both riders really enjoyed the lovely scenery and parting of the ways saw Jayney ride back to Gogerddan. Time now to watch TDF recordings after a very satisfactory ride.
