Coffee at the Retirement Home

'A warm welcome to twins Kim and Jackie who turned up to savour the delights that the tourers ride had to offer. Also, John came to support Jayney at Crymych. Our enthusiastic twins showed good strengh on the lanes out of Crymych, whizzing down towards Hermon and then taking twisty lanes back to the A road. Magnificent views opened up towards Mynachlog ddu while ominous clouds and heavy showers appeared to add drama to the scene. Undetered the 4 riders rode towards said hamlet before turning south - west to join another lane. A right turn took led them up to what is probably one of the Velo Teifi's prettiest lanes which took in open moorland, old standing stones, twists, turns, ups and downs and just about any sort of animal that would dare jump out into a cyclist's wheels. A small ascent presented itself just before the riders took the last downhill and back to Crymych. As ever when in Crymych, coffee is taken at the retirement home.'
